apple earbuds

Steve Jobs had a lot of announcements at their Let’s Rock event back in September, and one of the things he promised us was their slick new Apple Earbuds. He said they would be ready for consumers in October, well October came and went and it is now December. Apple finally announced the release of their new earbud ear phones. Each earphone features a woofer as well as a tweeter for better sound quality. They also feature a built-in remote and mic like the iPhone ear phones do but they are not compatible with the iPhone, which really sucks. They do come with interchangeable tips for small medium and elephant ears. At $79 this are bit pricey but hey it’s Apple and who are you to doubt them?

If Apple didn’t already have enough bad press with all the firmware and network problems with their iPhone 3G yet another Apple product seems to be causing some trouble. A French newspaper says that benzene is emitted from Mac Pros. Benzene can irritate eyes, skin and the respiratory tract. If you have a funny smelling Mac you might want to bring it in to Apple. Apple has denied the claims, but who actually admits their products spew toxic gas?

iphone replacement charger

iphone replacement charger

Apple recently recalled all their chargers that came with the iPhone 3G because of a safety issue. The iPhone charger recall was needed because apparently the metal prongs were breaking off and becoming stuck in electrical outlets which posed a safety issue. There were no reports of injuries fortunately, and Apple will replace your charger free of charge. Apple will be sending out replacement chargers on October 10th, information regarding the recall can be found on the Apple website. Here at iPhoneSpies we managed to get our hands on one before everyone else and we’re happy to announce they work great. It hasn’t broken on us yet. So be sure to check out the Apple site or head on over to the Apple store for your replacement.
