Apple announced the new fourth generation iPod nano today at their “Let’s Rock” media event in San Francisco. The new iPod nano will be the thinnest iPod ever with an enhanced user interface as well as an accelerometer that can detect tilt and will allow you to shuffle songs just by shaking the iPod. It features the Genius playlist built-in. The battery is rated at 24 hours for music and 4 hours for video with pricing at $149 for the 8GB model and $199 for the 16GB. The new iPod nano is available in 9 Colors: silver, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink and black.
